Attention all candidates in the 2008 presidential election. I see that South Carolina has decided to move its 2008 presidential primary to January 19, 2008, that New Hampshire therefore will move its 2008 presidential primary to January 12, 2008, and that Iowa therefore will move its 2008 caucuses to 2007. Each state's intent, of course, is to uphold its grand old tradition of getting more campaign loot and more political influence than its tiny size and atypical democraphics would otherwise warrant.
In that spirit, please be advised that instead of waiting until Election Day of 2008, I will be deciding which candidate to vote for not later than August 31, 2007. If you want my vote, you'd better impress me by then, or, better yet, ply me with enough money so that I can have an outstanding Labor Day weekend this year. If you don't forget me, I won't forget you.
